Securing Greater Depth in Learning – Monday 16 October 2017
The National Curriculum is built on the expectation that all children need to understand and that deepening understanding should replace acceleration through content.
This conference provides an opportunity for teachers and senior leaders to consider what it means to understand and to deepen understanding within the primary curriculum.
The day includes keynote addresses exploring the theme of going deeper led by nationally renowned speaker Rob Carpenter, and complimenting workshops in mathematics, reading, writing and science presented by Babcock expert advisors, Dr Ruth Trundley, Rebecca Cosgrave and Paul Brown.
