Sally Goddard Blythe MSc and Helen Moylett hosts this years Early Years Foundation Stage Conference
Monday 14 October 2019, Sandy Park, Exeter, 09:00 – 16:00
The areas of communication and language, personal, social and emotional development and physical development are inextricably linked. Children who do not make good progress in these areas throughout the EYFS, are likely to continue to struggle during their school years and beyond. We are constantly being reminded of the worrying increase in the numbers of children starting school lacking in the communication skills, emotional resilience and self-care skills necessary to thrive in a reception class. This conference will explore these issues, provoke thinking and consider solutions.
Key reasons to attend:
- Explore issues around communication skills and emotional resilience
- Consider new ideas and practical strategies linked to the Prime Areas to implement in your setting
- Take time away from your setting to reflect, evaluate practice and network with EY colleagues
"Weeks run from Monday to Sunday. Please note that weeks without communications to schools are ignored and the links will go to the last week where a communication was made in this category."
