Annual Behaviour Conference – Removing the Barriers to Learning – 26th November 2015
Staff in schools are increasingly aware of the link between academic success and good social and emotional development and mental health. This conference will explore a range of approaches and interventions designed to meet the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs of all children, support the most vulnerable and enable every child to engage with the curriculum to be a more successful learner. Internationally acclaimed clinical psychologist, author and, speaker on attachment and trauma, Dr Dan Hughes will be the keynote for the conference. He will be discussing ‘Creating Safety and Readiness to Learn with the teacher-student relationship’ in the morning, and in the afternoon focusing on ‘The Value of PACE’ (playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy).
"Weeks run from Monday to Sunday. Please note that weeks without communications to schools are ignored and the links will go to the last week where a communication was made in this category."
