Educational Psychology Literacy Conference: Improving outcomes for pupils with literacy difficulties – Monday 18 June 2018

This conference will provide an invaluable opportunity to update knowledge and improve provision in schools to meet the needs of children and young people with literacy difficulties.

Keynote speaker, Jonathon Solity, a leading researcher and practitioner in the field of reading and spelling will discuss his latest research findings as well as sharing with us his breadth of knowledge and experience in this area.

The day will provide you with most effective interventions to develop reading skills and what really works in the classroom with regards to supporting access to the curriculum, when reading and writing is a problem for learners.

Practical workshops will encourage discussion and generation of new ideas, as well as the chance to network and reflect. You will leave the conference feeling inspired with a range of new ideas and practical tools to implement in your schools, designed to improve outcomes for pupils with
