Statutory Advocacy for children in care and on child protection plans
The National Youth Advocacy Service in Devon is commissioned to deliver advocacy on behalf of all children subject to child protection processes as well as children in care and care leavers. Children’s social care has informed us that some children in need of protection are now going to be attending school.
We are now delivering all of our services online or over the phone and with your help, need a room where the young people can speak with us confidentially, to ensure the safety of staff and that of the young people who would otherwise find it difficult to access rights to advocacy. We will contact safeguarding at the school in order to set up our meetings, as we did before Covid-19.
If you have any questions, please contact Caroline Lee on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07436 836008. If you’re a ringing on behalf of a child/young person and need help, information or advice, please contact our freephone helpline or email email@example.com.
