South West Primary Science Masterclass: Engaging and Exciting Learning – Tuesday 3 July 2018
This masterclass will provide you with new and engaging ways to broaden and deepen science teaching and learning through interactive sessions, offering free resources and take-away strategies.
Keynote speaker Louise Stubberfield started her career in science research. After a 20 year career in teaching, including headship, Louise looked for new opportunities to share her passion for science with primary pupils and is now the Programme Manager leading on a UK campaign to transform Primary Science for Wellcome. Her interactive keynote will explore how to get the most from Explorify, a totally free resource of low preparation, creative science activities for primary school learning.
Expert consultant, Eleanor Atkinson from ‘Primarily Science’ will offer advice and practical ideas in how to incorporate all three core subjects (mathematics, literacy and science) in an effective, engaging, creative and cross-curricular way as well as discussing STEM.
"Weeks run from Monday to Sunday. Please note that weeks without communications to schools are ignored and the links will go to the last week where a communication was made in this category."
