Devon and Cornwall Police – Current Cyber Protect Advice

In light of the current situation we understand this is going to be a period of huge worry and uncertainty.  Unfortunately, and as you may be aware, Cyber-crime is a Tier 1 threat to National Security and criminals will exploit any opportunity they can, including Covid-19.

To help mitigate any impact on your school attached is some guidance from the National Cyber Security Centre which we strongly suggest you review and cascade to all teaching staff in your school.

Further advice can be found at https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/ or alternatively if you wish to contact us personally, please email cyberprotect@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk and one of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

We are looking to provide Cyber Security awareness seminars over webinar in the coming weeks, on topics such as safe working from home, local and national current threats etc. If this would be something you would be interested in or would be of benefit to your organisation, please let us know.

"Weeks run from Monday to Sunday. Please note that weeks without communications to schools are ignored and the links will go to the last week where a communication was made in this category."
