EXPIRED Culmstock Primary School – consultation on proposal to enlarge
Devon County Council is consulting on a proposal to enlarge Culmstock Primary School from a capacity of 105 places to 140 places with effect from September 2018.
This would mean the Planned Admission Number would increase from 15 to 20 from September 2018.
The increase in places, if approved, will be achieved by some internal remodelling to create a new classroom space, relocating the library within the site and re-organising the space to improve the learning environment for all.
In order to deliver the additional places, approval is being sought for capital funding from Devon County Council’s basic need allocation.
The Consultation Brochure is available via: https://www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay/ please select the ‘Education and Schools’ category. This website will continue to be updated as matters progress.
We welcome responses to the consultation by the closing date of 5pm on 29 March 2018. Please respond by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
