EXPIRED Coast South West 2016 – Invite to interactive event

The South West Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme would like to invite your students to attend an interactive event tracking the geographical changes around the South West coast over the past 10 years.

The SWRCMP monitors the South West coast from Portland Bill to Beachley Point and now has a bank of data spanning 10 years. This event will showcase the work of the Programme by bringing together a number of organisations helping to measure, conserve and protect the coast, including:

  • The Plymouth Coastal Observatory
  • The National Trust
  • The Met Office
  • The Environment Agency
  • CITiZAN
  • Plymouth University
  • Seaton Jurassic

The event is aimed at GCSE students and there will be worksheets and case studies for them to take away.

Students are welcome between 10am and 3pm on April 20th 2016 at the Rolle Marquee at Plymouth University.
