Increased Support in National School Breakfast Programme – Apply Now

The Department for Education has confirmed funding for the National School Breakfast Programme for 2020-21. Funding for the programme has been made possible so far because of income from the Soft Drinks Industry Levy. 1800 schools already participating in the NSBP scheme will receive another term’s support, and the new funding will now allow Family Action and Magic Breakfast, who run the programme, to reach 650 additional schools within key disadvantaged areas, including DfE’s 12 opportunity areas. Schools involved in the programme receive specialist advice, start up grants and deliveries of healthy food for every pupil to receive a breakfast.
