Using The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane as an inspiration, teachers and practitioners will develop skills in teaching literacy and language through practical and interactive workshops.
- Work with Eva John, the writer of the John Muir Explorer’s Guide to the Lost Words and Jackie Morris, the illustrator of The Lost Words.
- Participate in workshops to help you inspire talk and writing amongst your children both inside and outside the classroom.
- Discover ways to develop your children’s critical thinking skills and broaden your curriculum using issues relating to sustainability and the environment.
- View an extensive exhibition and meet people who can help you develop outdoor learning and sustainability in your school or setting.
