Incident details

The following information will be required in relation to the incident:

• The exact date and time of the incident – we cannot accept claims for ‘wear and tear’ of a vehicle over a prolonged period, DCC has an inspection routine in place that allows us to record and repair defects that meet our safety criteria.
• Map of the incident location.
• Photos of the defect and surrounding area (maximum 15 MB) (if safe to do so) – this will assist us with pinpointing the correct defect, location and surrounding area – if the damage has been caused by a roadworks sign, please include a photograph of the front and back of the sign.
• Photos of the vehicle damage (maximum 15 MB) – this will assist with your claim and prevent any fraudulent claims from being submitted.
