Pinhoe Road, Exeter – Resurfacing
What are we doing?
We will be carrying out essential resurfacing works along Pinhoe Road, Exeter, which will involve a temporary road closure. This work is needed to ensure the road is maintained in a safe condition.
The work will be carried out overnight to minimise disruption to traffic and local businesses. We will endeavour to complete the noisiest of our operations as early as possible, we apologise in advance for any inconvenience this work will cause.
When replacing the road markings following the resurfacing, we will take the opportunity to improve the cycle lane along this section of road. This will mean making the cycle lane wider to comply with current standards.
When are we doing the work?
The resurfacing work will take place from 1 March 2021 for 10 nights (Monday to Friday only).
The section of Pinhoe Road affected will be from Jubilee Road to the junction with Hamlin Lane.
When we will be closing the road?
For safety reasons, during this work a temporary road closure will be in place.
The road will be closed from 7pm each night and we hope to finish by midnight or shortly after. A signed diversion route will be in place while the road is closed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the closure and the road will be open each day.
