Horseguards and Wrefords Lane residents’ parking schemes

2020 implementation

The consultations and advertisements for the following zones have now been completed and the restrictions will come into effect on 7 September 2020. Properties eligible to apply for permits have been sent letters with details of their scheme and how to apply for permits.

Applying for a permit

It is recommended that all residents apply for permits as soon as possible. Apply for a permit now

Horseguards Zone I – Implementation

In February 2019 Devon County Council asked residents if they would support the introduction of a residents parking scheme in the Horseguards area of Exeter. The proposals were referred by the Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) on 9 April 2019 to full Cabinet.

On 15 May 2019 the Devon County Council full Cabinet meeting agreed that the zone should be re-advertised under its own zone identification.

Restrictions are being implemented on the following roads: Horseguards, Addington Court and The Quadrangle

Wrefords Lane Zone S5 – Extension

In February 2019 Devon County Council asked residents if they would support the extension of the existing residents parking scheme (Zone S5) in Exeter. The proposals were approved for implementation by the Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) on 9 April 2019.

Restrictions are being implemented on the following roads: Wrefords Drive, Wrefords Lane and West Garth Road.
