{"id":4195,"date":"2018-02-15T09:35:21","date_gmt":"2018-02-15T09:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/roadsandtransport\/?page_id=4195"},"modified":"2023-08-30T14:10:19","modified_gmt":"2023-08-30T13:10:19","slug":"rla-2017-consultation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/roads-and-transport\/parking\/traffic-regulation-orders\/rosebarn-lane-area\/rla-2017-consultation\/","title":{"rendered":"Rosebarn Lane area 2017 consultation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This consultation closed on Wednesday 7 June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Devon County Council has undertaken a consultation to decide whether to introduce resident parking restrictions in the Rosebarn Lane area of Exeter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents from the area contacted the council and submitted a petition to report that they are experiencing difficulties with the current on-street parking that is taking place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response, the County Council consulted on whether residents of the streets below would be in favour of the introduction of residents&#8217; parking restrictions in Rosebarn Lane and surrounding streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aldrin Road<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Armstrong Avenue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>California Close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collins Road (between Rosebarn Lane and Armstrong Avenue)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doriam Close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Florida Drive<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lebanon Close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mayflower Avenue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Michigan Way<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patricia Close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pennsylvania Road (from its junction with Rosebarn Lane northwards to its junction with Stoke Valley Road)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rosebarn Lane<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stoke Valley Road (western section up to junction with Plassey Close)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Fairway<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valley Park Close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yew Tree Close<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important that we know the current views of everyone who might be affected by new restrictions, responses will contribute towards the final decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/devoncc.sharepoint.com\/sites\/PublicDocs\/Highways\/_layouts\/15\/guestaccess.aspx?docid=0038f3e71fb554807bb28d3fd6a707c20&amp;authkey=AeS1-G70ZO130DTftTlQL_Y\" rel=\"noopener\">Background information and permit types available<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The responses will be collated and a summary of the comments submitted will be reported to the <a href=\"http:\/\/democracy.devon.gov.uk\/ieListMeetings.aspx?CommitteeId=168\" rel=\"noopener\">Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee<\/a>\u00a0at its meeting on 4 July 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this meeting, the councillors will make a decision of whether to progress a residents parking scheme in the Rosebarn Lane Area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This consultation closed on Wednesday 7 June.
