Switching from Digital to Devon

I doubt many if anyone has noticed the subtle but critical difference to our blog.

We have changed the name from Re:work Digital to Re:work Devon and for good reason.

We want to ensure that digital is not done in isolation from the rest of the change that is happening in the council.

Digital is a key enabler to change and service redesign and this is a view which is reflected in the councils new operating model so why would we want to keep it separate anymore?

From today we have opened up the blog to anyone across the council who is working on change and transformation projects and we know that colleagues in Organisational Change are keen to get going and start sharing their experiences, thinking and doing. If you work for DCC and want to get involved contact me (Carl Haggerty) and we can give you access.

Our hope is that this blog will become a better place to learn about the change that is happening and not just a place where we talk about digital disconnected from all the other challenges and change that is happening.

There simply isn’t a point in having a single blog just for digital anymore, if you want to read about that you can use the categories which will naturally evolve over time.
