{"id":4542,"date":"2026-06-18T09:28:45","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T08:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/public-health\/?page_id=4542"},"modified":"2026-07-08T11:55:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T10:55:17","slug":"adolescent-vulnerabilities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/public-health\/resources-insights-data\/training-and-cpd\/adolescent-vulnerabilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Adolescent vulnerabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Navigating adolescent vulnerabilities webinar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alongside the launch of our multi agency Child Exploitation and Contextual Safeguarding Strategy, we\u2019re hosting a series of practical online sessions and we\u2019re inviting colleagues and teams from across the partnership to take part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next webinar will focus on child exploitation and will take place on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Date: Tuesday 10 November 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time: 4 &#8211; 5 pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Teams: Link to follow, once booking received (see booking link below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost: All places are fully funded for our Devon partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aims and objectives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aims and objectives of the webinar are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>increase awareness of child exploitation, alongside local data and trends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>offer guidance on indicators, vulnerabilities and early warning signs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>share some practical responses, as well as referral pathways, to use when concerns arise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>signpost professionals to further support, training and resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These webinars are designed to boost our confidence in understanding adolescents and the way they interact and behave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hopefully, this will result in making our work seem easier, as well as supporting us to have better informed, and more thoughtful, conversations with children, young people, families, communities and our inter-agency partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will have the opportunity to submit a question with those frequently asked being collated and answered during the session. A link to do so will be provided with your Microsoft Teams invite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does it matter?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Staying aware of emerging trends and risks helps us spot concerns earlier and respond before issues escalate.
