but there are some things\u00a0we\u00a0can do to eat well and\u00a0save money on food shopping:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose fruit and vegetables that are in season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frozen or tinned\u00a0vegetables are just as good and often cheaper than fresh\u00a0varieties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add beans and pulses to meals,\u00a0a great source\u00a0of protein and fibre \u2013 and cheaper than meat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan meals and keep to\u00a0a\u00a0shopping list, check cupboards to see what needs using first.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try and reduce food waste\u00a0where\u00a0possible.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own brand foods are usually cheaper and can be just as nutritious.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook in batches to save time and money, this gives meals\u00a0to\u00a0freeze\u00a0and\u00a0eat another time.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eating well\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eating a wide range of food helps us get different\u00a0vitamins,\u00a0minerals\u00a0and nutrients.\u00a0Eating well\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0about\u00a0focusing on\u00a0certain foods or\u00a0nutrients &#8211;
