For more information about the Council&#8217;s responsibilities you can visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/public-rights-of-way-local-authority-responsibilities\" rel=\"noopener\">GOV.UK &#8211; local highway authority responsibilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A public right of way is a right by which the public can pass along linear routes over land at all times.
