THE COUNTY OF DEVON<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(<\/strong>FOOTPATH No. 8, KINGSWEAR<\/strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTICE <\/strong>is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From:\u00a0 Tuesday 21 April 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To:      Tuesday 20 October 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No persons shall proceed on the following public right of way except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of way. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Right of Way affected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kingswear Public Footpath No. 8, between Beacon Road and Lighthouse Beach<\/strong> \u2013 see brown dashes on adjacent plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kingswear Footpath 8 temporary closure map<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no alternative route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closure is necessary due to land slippage which has significantly undermined the lower end of the Footpath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
