ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 \u2013 SECTION 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(FOOTPATH No. 5,\u00a0 BERRYNARBOR)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER\u00a02025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTICE <\/strong>is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The order came into force on Sunday 4 May 2025 and would have expired on Tuesday 4 November 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Monday 4 May 2026 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No persons shall proceed on the section of affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public rights of way affected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FOOTPATH NO.5, BERRYNARBOR, Broadsands Stairs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berrynarbor Footpath 5 temporary closure map<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no alternative route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a recent landslip.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
