{"id":3006,"date":"2025-11-26T16:51:52","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T16:51:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/prow\/?page_id=3006"},"modified":"2026-03-25T13:57:50","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T13:57:50","slug":"barnstaple-footpath-9-northern-section-temporary-closure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/prow\/rights-of-way-and-planning\/current-temporary-closures-of-paths\/barnstaple-footpath-9-northern-section-temporary-closure\/","title":{"rendered":"Barnstaple Footpath 9 (northern section) temporary closure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 &#8211; SECTION 14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(<\/strong><strong>FOOTPATH No. 9,&nbsp; BARNSTAPLE<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER <\/strong><strong>202<\/strong><strong>5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTICE <\/strong>is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The order came into force on Tuesday 4 November 2025 and would have expired on Sunday 3 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Tuesday 3 November 2026 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No persons or cyclists shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.
