(FOOTPATH 22, WINKLEIGH)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on Friday 17th November 2023 and would have expired on Friday 17th May 2024.
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until 17th November 2024 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

WINKLEIGH FOOTPATH No. 22
From Torrington Road across the first field off the road in the direction of Orchard Lakes.

The developer will provide and maintain an alternative route is via Torrington Road and along the southern edge of the field.
The closure is necessary safeguard the public whilst the development that is underway is being completed.
