TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From: Monday 8 August 2022
To: Tuesday 7 February 2023
No persons and/or cyclists shall proceed on the affected paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public rights of way affected:
FOOTPATH No. 17, TOTNES & NCN2 TOTNES-DARTINGTON ACCESS FOR ALL PATH from a point approx. 25 metres west of the main line railway bridge over the River Dart to the split of the riverside footpath and National Cycle Network 2 route, both heading to Totnes Centre (red dashes).
The alternative route is via For Pedestrians: Footpath No. 17, Totnes, NCN2, Footpath No. 5, Totnes and NCN2, and vice versa (green circles).
For Cyclists: NCN2, Dartington Lane, A385 (Ashburton Road), Borough Park Road and NCN2, and vice versa (green and then blue circles).
The closure is necessary to enable essential maintenance works to be undertaken on behalf of Network Rail.
