(BRIDLEWAY NO. 87, SIDMOUTH)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2021
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From: MONDAY, 4th OCTOBER 2021
To: MONDAY, 4th APRIL 2022
No persons and/or horse riders shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public rights of way affected:
Bridleway No. 87, Sidmouth from Middle Knapp Smallholding and Lower Knapp Farm.
The alternative route is via Bridleway No. 69 and Footpath No. 71, Sidmouth. The route is only suitable for walkers.
The closure is necessary to enable works to replace an existing limestone beach. Once started the works are expected to take in the order of 6 weeks to complete.
