TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From: MONDAY 7 NOVEMBER 2022
To: MONDAY 6 MAY 2024
No horse riders, cyclists or vehicles shall proceed on the section of the affected highway except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of way. Pedestrian access only is maintained.
Public highway affected:
UNMETALLED UNCLASSIFIED COUNTY ROAD NO. 302, EAST PORTLEMOUTH, from the gateway above Waterhead Cottage to the Waterhead Creek Foreshore – see red dashes on the adjacent plans.

The alternative route is via Unmetalled Unclassified County Road No. 302, East Portlemouth, Road C251 (East Portlemouth – Chivelstone Road), Minor Road P2710 (road junction near Devonshire Bridge to Gullet Cross), Minor Road P2527 (Gullet Cross to Gullet Farm entrance), Unmetalled Unclassified County Road No. 301, South Pool and Unmetalled Unclassified County Road No. 302, East Portlemouth, and vice versa – see blue circles on the adjacent plan.
The closure is necessary to enable development works at Waterhead Cottage to be undertaken safely.
