DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
FOOTPATH NO. 8 BOVEY TRACEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on 17 August 202 and would have expired on 17 September 2022
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until 17 March 2023 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.
Public rights of way affected:
FOOTPATH NO. 8, BOVEY TRACEY from A382 Monks Way to limit of new development adjacent to Challabrook Farm.
The alternative route is via remaining part of Footpath No. 8 – Chapple Road – Bridleway No. 2 – Brimley Road – Ashburton Road – Avenue Road.
The closure is necessary to enable culvert construction work to be carried out as part of development.
