In partnership with Hft (formally known as Home Farm Trust) Devon County Council and its NHS partners, are holding an awareness raising event for technology enabled care and support.

You are invited to come and visit the Smarthouse created and hosted by Hft. The Smarthouse is an interactive flat showcasing some of the most innovative technology available that can support and enable people to live independently and safely.

The Smarthouse will be staffed by Hft’s Personalised Technology Team, who have a wealth of experience in assessing for, installing and supporting the use of technology.

We will be running a series of targeted sessions over three days and every afternoon will be open to everyone. This will give you the opportunity to try out some of technology available, hear how it works in practice and ask any questions.

Tuesday 6 March:
10:00 – 12:30 – Families and supported individuals

13:30 – 16:00 – Open session

Wednesday 7 March:
10:00 – 12:30 – Staff and equipment/telecare prescribers

13:30 – 16:00 – Open session

17.00 – 19:00 – Open session (*)

Thursday 8 March:
10:00 – 12:30 – Support providers

13:30 – 16:00 – Open session

* Additional evening session is subject to demand and may be cancelled if not enough attendees are confirmed
