The next Proud to Care Devon campaign is aimed at attracting young people, aged 17 – 25, to careers in care and health across Devon, including Plymouth and Torbay. It is funded by Health Education England’s Transformations Funding, following a successful bid by the Devon STP Resourcing Group.
The campaign goes live today and runs until 31 May 2019. It highlights a range of opportunities in the sector, including signposting to current vacancies, in particular apprenticeships and entry level jobs, providing information about all job roles in care and health, and signposting to local education providers and courses across Devon.
The campaign features a short, fast-paced film clip showing seven young people working in a wide variety of roles in different care and health settings across Devon. The film clip will be advertised online on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, You Tube and Google to reach young people and will direct people to a dedicated ‘landing page’.
During the campaign we are expecting a high volume of traffic to the Proud to Care website, including the Jobs Board, and in particular the ‘apprenticeship and entry level roles’ section of the Jobs Board so we would encourage you to promote both Proud to Care and encourage your recruitment teams to upload their vacancies for free.
We hope that this film clip will excite young people about the variety of opportunities in care and health. Please show your support by liking and sharing the film clip with friends and family if you see this on social media, to help raise the profile of the sector.
If you have any questions about the campaign, please contact Sally-Ann Turner or Nicola Dunn by emailing Proud to Care.
