All NHS and Local Authority partners in Devon have been working collaboratively as part of an Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) for the past two years. It has led to new, novel and different ways of enhancing health and care services in the county.
Chairs, Chief Executives and key political leaders are members of the Devon STP Collaborative Board, chaired by Dame Suzi Leather, and this is where high-level strategic decisions are made.
The Board is currently focused on how we tackle some of the challenging workforce issues, how we better embrace digital technology to improve services and how we can better address the needs of deprived communities, who often suffer worse health and care outcomes.
The Collaborative Board is looking to extend its membership with a particular focus on representatives from each of the care home and regulated personal care markets.
We would like interested providers (one from both the care home and regulated personal care markets) to join and contribute to the discussions.
The commitment would be to attend a three hour meeting once every quarter.
Please send your name and a short statement (max 250 words) to indicate why you are interested to The Business Relations Team mailbox by Thursday 14th March 5pm.
