National PPE information request

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has extended its request for information on PPE purchases to Supported Living, Extra Care Housing and Shared Lives providers as well as care homes and domiciliary care providers. DHSC is keen to collect information comparing PPE purchases for two recent months and where this has been purchased from, with a similar period from shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Please see this template form  and a letter with further information in relation to this request. Please pass on to local providers as appropriate.

Last week, we shared the DHSC request for information in relation to PPE from care home and home care providers. This work has now been extended to cover PPE purchase information for Supported Living, Extra Care Housing and Shared Lives services. The deadline for these returns is Tuesday 18 August.

Please use this template form for returns, following this guidance . Please return completed spreadsheets  by Tuesday 18 August, and send them to: ppefuturedemand@dhsc.gov.uk
