The Engaging Rural Micros Project
Devon County Council are offering sole traders and businesses the opportunity to voice their business needs and shape the design of future business support programmes which are right for their organisations.
Rural micro businesses and sole traders, in particular those in the health and social care sector, are invited to voice their opinions and have their business needs heard by taking part in surveys, focus groups, detailed case studies, and more.
The aim of the project is to gather research evidence to better understand the needs of rural micro businesses, how to increase their access to mainstream support and address the impact of personal life on business productivity. This research will inform future support programmes through the design of a new basic business support trial.
