Organised by the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, the event will promote activities within a care setting to help residents and service users remain active and maintain physical and psychological well being.
Whether caring for someone at home or in a formal care setting, this interactive event is an opportunity to try out a range of activities and pick up some free resources to take away to try.
It’s being held on 28 March at Tiverton Rugby Club, where carers can drop in at any time from 10am to 2pm.
Representatives from organisations including: Petroc, Tiverton Museum, Alzheimer’s Society, and Drink Wise, Age Well (plus many more) will be on hand to give information and advice.
Activities will include a chance to meet Frank the Dog, learn more about chair based exercises and the opportunity to have a free taster hand massage.
The Eastern Care Services Team said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to gain ideas about what activities can be made available within the care home setting.”
Please join us on 28th March. There will be refreshments and Tombola – all money raised will be donated to Mid Devon Age UK.
