SUMMARY:1 Day Supervision Course – at no cost
DESCRIPTION:The course will provide the opportunity for individuals to deve
 lop their own individual style of practicing as a supervisor. It is aimed 
 at staff working within the helping professions of mental health and learn
 ing disability. The course will provide the opportunity to consider many o
 f the challenges that emerge in practice within current supervision practi
 ce.\n\nTo gain the certificate you will need to fully participate in both 
 days.\n\nThe course aims to cover the following:\n\n 	What is supervision.
 \n 	Roles and responsibilities of supervision\n 	Models of Supervision.\n 
 	Tasks of supervision\n 	Barriers to supervision\n 	Benefits of good super
 vision.\n 	Listening Skills.\n 	Transference &amp\; Countertransference.\n
  	Ego states\n 	Challenging conversations.\n 	Issues for discussion\n 	Sup
 ervision skills practice\n 	Setting up peer groups.\n\nDates of training a
