Vaccinations - national booking system is open again for staff

Remember that the national booking system for COVID-19 vaccination is open again for front line staff.

EU Settlement Scheme

If you have staff who are non-UK EU nationals and they have yet to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, please encourage them to do so. The deadline for applying is Wednesday 30 June 2021.

Free Digital Skills training programme for new and existing care staff

New and existing health and social care staff in Devon and Somerset are now able to register for a free 12-week training programme, starting in January. Boost your career, enhance your employability, gain new confidence and motivation. This is an opportunity for care staff to invest in their digital skills. Best Practice recruitment webinar

Providers have reported that recruitment has become extremely challenging as the tourism and hospitality sectors have begun re-hiring. Some staff who joined the sector during the pandemic are returning to their previous roles, increasing the need to recruit to replace them. Capacity Tracker - home care support sessions

The Capacity Tracker team are providing four engagement sessions specifically for home care providers. There will be a short demo on the Capacity Tracker, information on reports and a chance for providers to feedback to the team. The sessions are on Wednesdays from 23 June to 14 July from 10.00am to 11.00am.
