At a national level we seek to influence the content of new planning legislation, guidance and other material prepared by Central Government and its agencies. One of the main ways we do this is by responding to consultations initiated by the Department for Communities and Local Government (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/department-for-communities-and-local-government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DCLG<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Locally, we are responsible for minerals and waste planning in Devon and are responsible for the production of the mineral and waste plans.
