Community Councillor Grants from North Devon Council

Posted on: 13 May 2019

Is your group or club looking for funding? North Devon Council has a fund of £42,000 waiting to be claimed.

Each of our 42 District Councillors is allocated £1,000 per year to help address the issues, needs and aspirations of local communities through projects or services run by community groups and voluntary organisations.

So, if you belong to a voluntary or community group, club or not for profit organisation that benefits the residents or environment of North Devon then we may be able to help.

Head of Corporate and Community at North Devon Council, Ken Miles, says: “Our Community Councillor Grant Scheme has helped to support a variety of local clubs and organisations across the district. There is a lot of information on our website about the scheme, including how to apply. Why not have a look and see if your organisation or project could benefit from the scheme?”

For further details, or to make an application visit the grants page of our website or give the office a call on 01271 388253.
