We have training available in January to individuals, aged over 19-years-old, who are interested in a career or improving their skills in early years and childcare.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training suits people who are interested in working in wraparound childcare, like after school clubs and breakfast clubs; and people who may already be working with children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is free to individuals, and available at a discount to employers. It’s delivered through a mix of virtual lessons, e-learning and face-to-face meetings, to fit flexibly around work life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll learn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022         Understanding Children\u2019s Play: Dive into the importance of play, brain development, and neurodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022         Supporting Children\u2019s Play: Discover the role of a playworker, intervention styles, and the voice of the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022         Environments for Play: Learn to create effective play spaces and understand play types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022         Mental Health and Wellbeing: Integrate mental health strategies with child development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022         Legislation of Play: Gain knowledge about relevant legislation to ensure inclusive play practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Skills Bootcamp also covers Safeguarding, Child Protection and Paediatric First Aid certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skill Bootcamp is available to people in Devon and Torbay, with Right To Work in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
