{"id":58398,"date":"2022-11-18T16:19:38","date_gmt":"2022-11-18T16:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/news\/?p=58398"},"modified":"2022-11-18T16:19:40","modified_gmt":"2022-11-18T16:19:40","slug":"overnight-closure-of-a381-halwell-to-remove-ash-dieback-infected-trees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/news\/overnight-closure-of-a381-halwell-to-remove-ash-dieback-infected-trees\/","title":{"rendered":"Overnight closure of A381 Halwell to remove Ash dieback infected trees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Ash dieback infected trees are due to be removed from alongside the A381 at Halwell next week (24 November) as a safety precaution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road will be closed between Bickleigh Cross and the junction with the A3122 overnight from 7pm on Thursday 24 November until 7am the following morning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closure will enable the removal of more than 40 ash trees which are dead, diseased, or damaged and pose a safety risk to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to businesses and properties within the closure will be maintained, although there may be a small delay to ensure safe passage.
