With the February half-term school holidays just around the corner and families potentially travelling abroad, it’s worth knowing that from today (Friday 11 February), you no longer need to take a COVID-19 test either before or after you arrive back in the UK, if you’re fully vaccinated.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re not fully vaccinated, you’ll need to take a pre-departure test, and after you’ve arrived, take a PCR test on or before day two, and self-isolate if the result is positive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure you check the entry requirements<\/a> of the country you are visiting as requirements for testing and vaccination can vary from country to country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
