And in it we\u2019ll likely find odd cables, an old smartphone, discarded headphones or numerous other electricals. The possibilities are endless!&nbsp; However, if these items are binned rather than recycled, that potential is lost forever.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Recycle Your Electricals Campaign is making recycling small old electricals easier than ever before by providing an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.recycleyourelectricals.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">information hub<\/a>&nbsp;for the UK on how to recycle electricals, and a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.recycleyourelectricals.org.uk\/electrical-recycling-near-me\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">postcode locator<\/a>&nbsp;with details of over 2,500 recycling, repair and reuse points across the UK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can recycle&nbsp;anything with a plug, battery or cable, such as:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Old smartphones and obsolete charging cables&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Broken kettles, toasters, blenders and other kitchen appliances&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Old electric shavers, electric toothbrushes and hair dryers&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Computers, laptops, tablets and games consoles&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>TVs, speakers and remote controls \u2013 and more!&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what to do:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bag up your electricals ready to recycle&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>If your local council accepts small electricals in the household recycling collection, place them in the appropriate household recycling container. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recycledevon.org\/at-home\/recycle-at-home\" rel=\"noopener\">Check what your council accepts<\/a>. If not, drop them off at your nearest&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/wasteandrecycling\/centre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recycling
