Update: Special Partnership Trust year 6-7 transition project

​As part of our ongoing commitment to improving transition experiences for pupils with Special Educational Needs, Special Partnership Trust has been working in partnership with Devon County Council on a comprehensive Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Project.

During the summer term, we engaged in a wide range of shared activities designed to build strong, supportive pathways for pupils moving into secondary settings. These include:

These activities laid a strong foundation for the next phase of the project, and we are pleased to confirm that several support sessions are now booked for the autumn term. These will continue to focus on ensuring that Year 7 pupils with SEND are well supported as they settle into their new environments.
