The Leader of Devon County Council, Councillor John Hart, is inviting Devon County Council staff and all residents to join in a one-minute silence on Monday 16 August 2021 at 11am, in remembrance of the five people who lost their lives during the Keyham shooting and in support of their families and loved ones, and all those who have been affected.
There is a ceremony outside The Guildhall on Armada Way, Plymouth, from 10.30am.
Councillor Hart said: “Devon County Council is standing alongside the people of
Plymouth and asking all residents and staff who wish to, to take time to reflect and join in a one-minute silence.
“Residents in Plymouth are our friends, neighbours and colleagues and we all need to come together and support them and for us all to take a moment to remember those who have been lost.”
