The upgrade has seen this priority junction remodelled into a signalised junction with new kerbing, signals, streetlighting and drainage. The works were completed in January 2022 by MacPlant Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>The County Council also took the opportunity to resurface the 30-year-old carriageway between Heywood junction and Kenwith Viaduct, as part of a separate Highway Structural Maintenance scheme.
