Migration to the new Remote Access Portal

DCC Windows 7 Remote Access Portal (RAP) to be retired and replaced with a new Windows 10 RAP

Some DCC staff as well as partner organisations require access to Devon County Council applications/email and currently access this via the DCC RAP (Remote Access Portal) using a DCC Windows 7 user account.

A new Windows 10 RAP is up and running and there is a requirement for all users accessing DCC systems using the Windows 7 RAP to move to the new Windows 10 RAP. This is because Microsoft is shortly to end support for Windows 7 in January 2020. Therefore Scomis will be migrating all remaining user accounts from Windows 7 to Windows 10 to allow them to login to the new portal.

If you have been notified that you will be, or have been migrated from the Windows 7 to the Windows 10 RAP (Remote Access Portal), please read the instructions on how to access the Windows 10 Remote Access Portal.

IMPORTANT – Please note there are prerequisites requiring you or your IT department to add the new site to your organisations Trusted Site Internet configuration settings and apply other fixes (if connecting from a Windows 7 device), so it is recommended that you forward the instructions to your IT support so they can ensure all pre-requisites are in place prior to being migrated.
