New scheme helps employers access graduate talent

Plymouth University, in partnership with Santander, is launching a scheme to facilitate graduate employment. The CATALYST Service is seeking to work with employers looking to expand their workforce with no long term commitment by employing a recently qualified Plymouth graduate on a short term, part funded internship. Plymouth University is making a contribution of £1500 towards the salary cost for a limited time.

If you have a tactical project that needs an extra pair of hands to get off the ground then our CATALYST internship programme could be the answer.

CATALYST eligibility criteria:
• Minimum 12 weeks duration
• You pay a graduate salary of around £300 per week
• Employment must start before the end of December 2014
• Plymouth University 2014 Graduate

Plymouth University has a bank of talented young professionals eager to bring fresh ideas and new knowledge to your organisation particularly in the following areas: business, accountancy and finance, geography, media and arts.

Please note: eligible businesses will be provided with £1500 towards the graduate intern’s salary, paid in two half payments: one shortly after the start of employment and the second after 6 weeks. Plymouth University makes a charge of £300 + VAT to cover management costs, which is deducted from the first payment.
