Tom writes a monthly column for the Guardian about his life in the Devon countryside and hosts a show on Soundart Radio.

Title:Exmouth Festival - Roald Dahl from Boyhood to Books

Description: A performance of an examination of the work of Roald Dahl and how his childhood experiences might have influenced his writing. The show, performed by Nick Wood, will compare events described in tales from Roald Dahlís childhood with characters in his books. The show will include the use of puppets and some audience participation.

Description: Please email exmouth.library@devon.gov.uk if you are interested in attending. Launched in April 2004, the group has about 12 regular members of whom 8 - 10 attend regularly. The members choose which books they want to read and discuss. Each session starts with a welcoming cup of tea/coffee.
