Title:Record Breakers - Launch and Pledging Day
Date:Saturday 11 July
Time: 10:00-12:30
Description: The theme for this year's summer reading challenge is Record Breakers! Libraries across the country will be attempting to break the record for the most pledges received. From 10am to 12.30pm you will be able to make a pledge and be part of this record breaking attempt! Town Councillor Brenda Taylor will be here to adjudicate. Throughout the day you will be able to collect your Summer Reading Challenge packs and choose some great books in the children's library.
Audience:All children welcome!
Cost: Free!
Bookings: No need to book. Just come along between 10:00 and 12:30 to add a pledge to the record breaking attempt.

Description: Songs, rhymes and stories for babies and toddlers. Bouncing and rhyming starts at 13:45 and finishes 14:15. Everyone is welcome to use the Library before and after the session!

Date:Every Wednesday

Description: A friendly and supportive group. Chat to other stroke survivors. Pick up and pass on tips. Generally put the world to rights.

Description: For people with memory loss and their carers. Relax and listen to great stories and poems read aloud to you in a small friendly group.

Title: Exmouth Library Reading Group
Date:Every Four weeks on a Wednesday
Time: 14:15-15:30
Description: Please email exmouth.library@devon.gov.uk if you are interested in attending. Launched in April 2004, the group has about 12 regular members of whom 8 - 10 attend regularly. The members choose which books they want to read and discuss. Each session starts with a welcoming cup of tea/coffee.

Title: Booktrack
Time: During Library opening hours
Description: Choose the books you like and when you have read them, chat to your local librarian about up to 4 of them. You are awarded a badge when you have read 10, 25, 50 and 75 books plus stickers at 40, 60 and 90 books. When you have finished your reading trail of 100 books you will get a special certificate and a gold badge!
Audience:Children 6 years and above
Cost: Free!
Bookings: No need to book, just bring your first 4 books in to your local library.
Title: Bookstart Bear Club
Time: During Library opening hours
Description: Join the fun at your local library. Collect a Paw print stamp each time you visit. Then collect a certificate after every 6 visits until you get a final gold certificate!
Audience:Children 0-5
Cost: Free!
Bookings: No booking required. Just come in to the library and ask for a bear club pack.
