This recognises a reducing inflation rate, that is forecast to reduce further over the next 12 months to an average of 2.2% in 2024\/25.<\/p>\n<h2>Personalised fee model \u2013 care cost hourly rate<\/h2>\n<p>It is proposed that the care cost hourly rate increase from \u00a314.16 per hour to \u00a314.72 per hour.<\/p>\n<h2>Personalised fee model \u2013 accommodation costs<\/h2>\n<p>The Council also proposes to apply 4% to the accommodation weekly rates as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Residential to increase from \u00a3396 per week to \u00a3412 per week.<\/li>\n<li>Nursing to increase from \u00a3414 per week to \u00a3431 per week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Non-banded rate<\/h2>\n<p>It is proposed that non-banded rates be uplifted by 4%<\/p>\n<h2>Banded fee inflation<\/h2>\n<p>The inflation approach for the banded fee proposes that 4% be added to the 2023\/24 fee as below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devoncc.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/PublicDocs\/Corporate\/EeibtJeok1BLkyb9HemCqwABgMdsQHlxDkZbxgNtY0A9zw?e=K44UR6\" rel=\"noopener\">Care home fees increase 2024\/25 consultation document<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For further information please contact <a href=\"mailto:socialcarebusinessrelationsmailbox@devon.gov.uk\">socialcarebusinessrelationsmailbox@devon.gov.uk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Devon County Council wrote directly to all Devon care home providers with details of the proposed annual fee increases for 2024\/25 on 1 February and has also published the proposal on this public Have Your Say web page.
