Devon County Council

A Senior Commissioning Manager shared Devon County Council’s revised Vision and a draft copy of the Living Well in Devon Strategy with attendees. Board members were able to discuss the contents of both documents which look at promoting people’s independence and comment on whether the council were concentrating on the right things.

Devon Partnership Trust (DPT)

There were two health based presentations from the Devon Partnership Trust (DPT). The first was on STOMP. STOMP is a campaign looking at Stopping the Over Medication of People with learning disabilities or Autism. The second was on a Reasonable Adjustment Pilot Project run with Devon Link-Up. Reasonable adjustments are small changes organisations can make to ensure people with additional needs can access and use their service.
